Shake off the winter doldrums! Join your friends and make new friends at OMM?s Anand Mela and have a dhamaal time! Admission is FREE! There will be food and games and music and PRIZES. What are you waiting for?

Now read the OMM website in our own Marathi language (in Devanagari script). Here is what you need to do:

• Download the Devanagari font from 'Technology Development for Indian Languages' department's website. This is a Govt. of India Department and the downloads can be assumed official and reliable (no viruses). OMM recommends to use 'GISTYogeshN'  (developed by CDAC) font for best viewing although some other compatible fonts (Gargi, Raghu, GISTSurekhN) will work too.
• Download these fonts (you will accept the free license and download the ZIP file) and unzip them. Put the true type font (TTF) files in your "fonts" folder. Fonts folder can be accessed (for MS Windows) via Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Fonts. Drag and drop works as well as copy and paste.
• You are ready to view OMM in Marathi, almost! You see the little dropdown box at the right upper corner (left of 'Search' box) of OMM's website? Use that to choose between 'Marathi' and 'English' as your website language. You are on your way to read Oregon Marathi Mandal's website in our own Marathi...

The Oregon Marathi Mandal (OMM) is dedicated to the celebration of the culture and heritage of the Indian state of Maharashtra. OMM brings together people from all over the Pacific Northwest who are interested in the language, culture, and traditions that are specific to Maharashtra. OMM has presented plays and concerts, lectures, debates, celebrations of Hindu and Indian holidays, as well as picnics and children's talent shows.
